We are delighted to feature this Vintage Warner Cameo reversed carved glass cobalt blue brooch.
It needs to be polished up but it looks to be in very good, original vintage condition.
Gorgeous cobalt blue with hints of green glass is bevel cut and Jour ( open back) creating great life from every angle.
The portrait lady cameo is carved on the reverse. Silver tone frame is prong set with nice etch work. Secure rolling c clasp.
It measures measures 1 7/8” tall, 5/16” thick, signed Warner on the back.
Joseph Warner founded the Warner Company in 1953. The Warner jewelry is not very common and because of its better quality of workmanship, superior rhinestones and metal settings, the jewelry found commands above average pricing in the collector’s market today. Other manufacturers of jewelry, using cameos, rhinestones and other materials do not demonstrate the workmanship or the pieces and do not contain the brilliant stones and materials which distinguishes them from the Warner pieces. Mark: "WARNER". The company ceased operations in the early 1970s.
